Politicians, political professionals, and businesses need to keep track of the many rules that govern the political process. We provide advice regarding campaign finance, ethics rules and investigations, and the conduct of elections. We also represent campaigns, individuals, and interest groups before state and federal regulatory agencies and in court when necessary.

As one of our clients has noted, Marc is "one of the few lawyers . . . who can see and understand the political implications of legal decisions."

We have successfully represented clients before Georgia's State Ethics Commission and the Federal Elections Commission. We also persuaded the Georgia Supreme Court to overturn a statewide election in what was the first — and still only — successful statewide election challenge in U.S. history (Mead v. Sheffield, 601 S.E.2d 99 (Ga. 2004)).

Some of our political clients have included Georgia Governor Roy Barnes (D), Georgia Secretary of State Cathy Cox (D), Georgia State Senator David Shafer (R) and Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin (D).
